Job Overview

The role of a Medical Radiation Specialist at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health involves delivering accurate therapeutic doses of radiation to patients with cancer or benign neoplasms. This position requires the ability to perform therapy simulation, construct patient immobilization devices, and support treatment activities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cancer Treatment Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting chart checks, answering phones, and assisting in patient treatment and department operations. Your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have completion of a JCAHO-accredited program in radiation therapy, current certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), and licensure with the Washington state Department of Health. Strong organizational and computer skills are also essential.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $**85,000 - $110,000 per year**, depending on experience.
