Technical Expert Wanted for Radiation Oncology Department at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) is a leader in cancer research and treatment. We are seeking an experienced Applications Analyst II to join our Radiation Oncology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing Mosaiq and/or Aria software systems for radiation oncology departments.

About the Position

This role ensures seamless operation of clinical workflows and aligns technology solutions with organizational goals to enhance patient care. The successful candidate will work closely with radiation oncology clinicians, physicists, and operational leaders to collect, interpret, and document business requirements, writing functional specifications and identifying potential system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing and configuring Mosaiq and/or Aria software systems for radiation oncology departments.
  • Servicing as the primary point of contact for Mosaiq and/or Aria applications, addressing system functionality, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support.
  • Collaborating with radiation oncology clinicians, physicists, and operational leaders to collect, interpret, and document business requirements.
  • Overseeing system upgrades, patches, and maintenance in coordination with IT and vendor teams.
  • Managing role-based access, security, and compliance with regulatory standards, including HIPAA.
  • Supporting integration of Mosaiq/Aria with other healthcare systems (e.g., EMRs, PACS, imaging equipment).
  • Developing and maintaining system documentation, workflows, and training materials.
  • Facilitating end-user training and providing ongoing support to staff.
  • Participating in change control processes and maintaining business continuity plans.

The estimated salary for this position is between $93,100.80 and $139,630.40 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
