Key Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Counseling: Deliver structured, ethical, and culturally sensitive clinical counseling services to clients, adhering to District of Columbia licensing and certification standards.
- Conduct Assessments and Intakes: Conduct thorough assessments and intakes for individuals served, developing treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.
- Lead Treatment Teams: Participate in treatment team meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Engage with Clients: Engage new intakes, meeting weekly to establish a strong therapeutic relationship and ensure successful assignment to a treatment team.
- Manage Caseload: Maintain a caseload of clients, providing regular therapy sessions and monitoring progress towards treatment goals.
- Collaborate with Clinical Managers: Work closely with Clinical Managers to assign new intakes to treatment teams, ensuring seamless transitions and effective case management.
- Provide Clinical Supervision: Offer clinical supervision to junior staff members, ensuring consistency with DBH/MHRS regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and Implement Policies: Develop and update policies, procedures, and directives in accordance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, ensuring staff training and implementation.
- Master's Degree: Possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensure: Be licensed in Washington DC as LPC, LICSW, or LMFT.
- Supervisory Experience: Preferably 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as problem-solving and time management skills.
