New Home Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused New Home Consultant to join our team at Lennar. As a New Home Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the new home purchase process from initial customer contact to closing, aiming to create a delighted and happy customer.

Your Responsibilities
  • Engage and establish relationships with visitors to understand their home buying needs, utilizing our company's selling philosophy.
  • Self-generate sales leads through community engagement, realtor partnerships, and proactive prospecting.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of the competitive market, including products, community features, and demographics.
  • Provide consistent follow-through with customers from initial contact to post-closing, maintaining accurate communication records.
  • Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing programs.
  • Ensure the maintenance of Welcome Home Center models and inventory homes.
  • Complete required training and participate in community events and phone banks.
Your Toolbox
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree and real estate license preferred.
  • Tennessee Real Estate license required, Tennessee Broker license preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in homebuilding or real estate sales preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use sales tracking tools.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements

Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. This is primarily an active position, involving office/phone work and walking in all weather conditions, and uneven surfaces, to and within homesites in the community.
