Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Homecare Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. As a Private Duty Homecare Nurse with Interim HealthCare of Augusta, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one patient-centered care to patients with complex medical needs, including those with feeding tubes, tracheostomies, and home ventilation.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and provide education to patients and families on medication management and self-care.
Requirements
  • Active Georgia Nursing License (LPN or RN) or Compact Nursing License from a participating state.
  • BLS Provider CPR Certification.
  • Recent TB Skin Test or Chest X-Ray.
  • Experience working with patients with complex medical needs, including those with feeding tubes, tracheostomies, and home ventilation.
