Job Overview

Furniture Mart USA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our team in Woodbury, MN. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide direction and leadership to store team members, including sales associates and management staff.
  • Sales and Profitability: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and profitability, including visual merchandising and operational standards.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Operations: Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, supply chain logistics, and facility maintenance.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, train, and develop sales associates and store team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a retail sales environment with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and direct teams, including coaching and developing others.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office products and other relevant software applications.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or retail management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory Experience: 2+ years of supervisory experience in a retail sales environment or similar fast-paced, customer-service environment.
  • Education: Master's degree in a related field, such as business or retail management.
