Nursing Care Specialist

AnMed is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team on the 4 Center Med-Surg Unit. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, skin care, turning and positioning, and toileting needs.
- Assist patients with meals, ambulation, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Obtain and document vital signs, reporting abnormal results to the patient's nurse.
- Measure and record intake, output, height, and weight.
- Participate in hourly rounds on patients, assessing pain, positioning, potty needs, placement of personal items, and VTE prophylaxis.
- Communicate learning needs to the charge nurse or nurse manager.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience preferred.
