Job Description:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Orthopedic/Medical Surgical unit, addressing various medical and surgical needs.
  • Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5.
  • Expectation to work every other weekend.
  • Open to first-time registered nurses.
  • Participate in a 16-hour non-billable orientation prior to starting.
  • Complete pre-start online learning modules, averaging 2 hours, recorded via online learning.
  • Use EPIC for charting and documentation.
  • Comply with required flu vaccination, with medical/religious exemptions only.
  • Float to different units if required and within the nursing scope of practice.
  • Must submit any requested time off during the application process.
