Job Overview

The Chief Seattle Club is seeking a skilled Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on weekends. As a key member of our Day Center, this role will provide exceptional support to our members, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the front lobby and front door, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all individuals entering the Day Center.
  • Direct members, visitors, and staff to the appropriate locations, providing clear guidance and support.
  • Check in members, enroll new members, and collect various documents, maintaining accurate records and confidentiality.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and communicate with staff through Microsoft Teams, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Interact with members during events, fostering positive relationships and promoting a sense of community.
  • Attend all staff meetings and applicable trainings, staying up-to-date on program developments and best practices.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone, with the ability to effectively manage stressful situations and de-escalate conflicts.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience working in Clarity/HMIS, Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
  • Culturally competent with a deep understanding of trauma-informed care, secondhand trauma, generational trauma, internalized racism, colorism, and their impact on the Native community and our members.
