Job Title: Clinical Educator

DCI Donor Services is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator to join our team. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clinical staff are well-prepared to facilitate organ donation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement training programs for clinical staff to ensure consistent and uniform standards of practice.
  • Facilitate training sessions on various clinical topics and concepts, including referral and donor management, allocation, and recovery.
  • Assist with employee evaluations of core clinical competency trainings and overall assessments.
  • Create and maintain curriculum for staff on a variety of clinical topics and concepts.
  • Participate in field and desktop audits to identify opportunities for improvement and evaluate training needs.
  • Utilize performance data and trending to identify training needs.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years prior experience as an Organ Recovery Coordinator or related healthcare role.
  • 2+ years prior experience as a preceptor/trainer.
  • OPO experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement training curriculum.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement and multitask.
  • Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills.
  • Registered Nursing (RN) License preferred.
  • Valid Drivers License with the ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements.
