About the Role

DCI Donor Services is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator to join our team. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clinical staff are well-prepared to facilitate organ donation. This position requires routine travel to OPO locations and hospitals within our designated service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Training Programs: Create and maintain various forms of curriculum for staff on a variety of clinical topics and concepts.
  • Facilitate Clinical Staff Training: Ensure the consistent and uniform standards of practice are observed by the clinical staff.
  • Assist with Employee Evaluations: Assist with employee evaluation of core clinical competency trainings and overall assessments.
  • Participate in Audits and Quality Improvement: Participate in field and desktop audits to identify opportunities for improvement and evaluate training needs.
  • Utilize Performance Data: Utilize performance data and trending to identify training needs.
Requirements
  • 2+ years prior experience as Organ Recovery Coordinator or related healthcare role
  • 2+ years prior experience as a preceptor/trainer
  • OPO experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement training curriculum
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement and multitask
  • Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills
  • Registered Nursing (RN) License preferred
  • Valid Drivers License with the ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements
