Nursing Director Position for Administrative Excellence

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced nursing director to lead its administrative team in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and managing hospital processes related to acquiring and maintaining Magnet Designation and/or Pathway to Excellence (PTE) Designation, as per ANCC guidance. This involves assessing hospital readiness and compliance status, planning and implementing programs, and guiding leadership in their areas of responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Masters in Nursing degree
  • Five years of functional experience in nursing administration
  • Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification in nursing administration
  • Experience in ANCC's Magnet or PTE Designation
