Job Title: Senior Acquisition SME (Task Lead - 1)

Location: Stafford, VA

Introduction:

Rivet Operations Company is a leading provider of professional services to the Department of Defense. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Acquisition SME to join our team as a Task Lead. The successful candidate will provide expert knowledge and support in program and acquisition management, leading a team of acquisition and program analysts.

Duties:

  • Provide expert guidance and support in program and acquisition management to the Marine Corps Systems Command technology customer.
  • Lead a team of 5-7 acquisition and program analysts, providing vision, strategy, direction, and quality control of task-level performance.
  • Supervise and empower team members to achieve exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Support the synchronization of contractor personnel at different levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 15 years of DoD acquisition management experience, including experience implementing Agile principles and methods.
  • Experience in direct supervision of professionals in program and acquisition management.
  • Strong verbal communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications.

Education or Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • PMI Project Management Professional certification or DAWIA Program Management Level III.

Security:

Requires the applicant to pass the security clearance requirement for the position. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.

Physical Requirements:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
