Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse. This role is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with physicians and interprofessional healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population.
- Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional teams to coordinate care, communicate effectively, and ensure timely and efficient care delivery.
- Participate in shared governance initiatives, contribute to quality improvement projects, and engage in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Provide patient education, support, and advocacy to promote positive outcomes and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current Texas State Licensure or Compact State Licensure.
- Two years of nursing experience in a pre-op/PACU, ICU, or ED environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care and teamwork.
