About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Texas Children's Outpatient Cancer Center. As a key member of our ambulatory care team, you will provide exceptional nursing care and coordination of services for patients with complex needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and telephone nursing care to patients, including health teaching and patient advocacy.
  • Coordinate care given by others, including supervision and coordination of services required for patients outside the ambulatory care setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards, including respiratory fit testing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or associate's degree in nursing with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program.
  • RN License by Texas Board of Nursing or Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • 3 years' or more experience in nursing, preferably in a pediatric subspecialty.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
