Job Summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Resolution Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for resolving patient accounts, investigating claim edits, and working with insurance carriers to obtain payment.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve patient accounts, including claim edits and work denials
  • Work with insurance carriers to obtain payment for patient accounts
  • Act as a subject matter expert for escalated issues and provide insight on identified denial trends or root cause of denials
  • Assist with training and mentoring other staff members
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of work experience in patient access, revenue cycle, or patient accounting/billing
  • Associate of Arts or Science degree preferred
