Job Overview

Himalayan Dog Chew, LLC is currently seeking an Inventory Associate to enhance our operational team.

Since our inception in 2003, we have evolved from a small venture into a prominent player in the pet supply industry. Our journey began with a unique product and has expanded to include a diverse range of pet items, including treats, toys, and gear.

As an Inventory Associate, you will play a crucial role in our food manufacturing facility, focusing on the receipt and storage of ingredients, products, and packaging materials essential for our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily inventory management tasks.
  • Prepare and affix labels on shipments for both small packages and LTL orders.
  • Maintain accurate records in the inventory log on a daily basis.
  • Monitor all products utilized in cooking and packaging from the warehouse.
  • Ensure safe and timely unloading of shipments from receiving vehicles.
  • Verify that all boxes are properly packed and labeled.
  • Operate a forklift as required.
  • Perform monthly cycle counts.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
  • Report directly to the Inventory Supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift up to 65 pounds occasionally.
  • Capacity to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Proficient in understanding and responding to directions in English.
  • Familiarity with using a box cutter safely.
  • Reliable transportation and availability to work Monday through Friday.
  • Previous experience in shipping or inventory management is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3 PM

Compensation: Starting at $19 - $20 per hour
