Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmology Physician to join our team at Optum. As a member of our care delivery team, you will be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care and treatment for various eye conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in ophthalmology.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology Residency Program.
  • Completion of an Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship (must be approved by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery – ASOPRS).
  • Board Eligible or Certified: American Board of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
  • Unrestricted WA Physician License or the ability to obtain prior to start.
  • Current DEA certificate required prior to start date.
  • EMR Proficient – EPIC preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • No experience required, new graduates welcome to apply.
