The variety department is a dynamic and fast-paced area of the store, where you'll be responsible for handling non-grocery items and ensuring that our customers have a seamless shopping experience. As a GM/HBC Manager, you'll be accountable for the department's results, including providing superior service, increasing sales, improving profitability, and controlling costs.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You'll also need to be able to understand and follow instructions, and be able to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.

As a GM/HBC Manager, you'll be responsible for training, supervising, scheduling, and assigning duties to GM/HBC Clerks, as well as implementing the merchandising program and adhering to division guidelines. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, checking orders for completeness, and rotating stock to ensure that our customers have access to the products they need.
