About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during your designated shift. You'll work collaboratively with other members of the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program is also required, with a BSN to be obtained within 5 years of hire date into the RN position.
