Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapy Department Supervisor to lead our daily operations and ensure the provision of high-quality care to our patients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising clinical staff, managing daily assignments, and overseeing front office operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage clinical staff, including physical therapists, rehabilitation technicians, and students
  • Manage daily assignments, schedules, and vacation scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels and productivity
  • Recruit, hire, schedule, and evaluate staff members, including disciplinary actions
  • Oversee clinical development, orientation, competency assessment, and ongoing education
  • Supervise front office operations, including scheduling, insurance verification, registration, and patient flow
  • Collect and analyze data to improve service quality and foster a continuous improvement culture
  • Manage labor distribution, productivity, supply expenditures, and patient satisfaction data
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS Conditions of Participation, and federal and state regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science or related field
  • 2 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist
  • Licensed by the State of Texas as a Physical Therapist
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
