**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Home Supervisor to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a Home Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and safety of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who reside in our state-supported living centers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and monitor the activities of direct support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support services.
- Perform administrative and programming duties, including supervising and evaluating direct care staff, and ensuring the quality of care and treatment provided.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe and supportive living environment.
- Provide training and guidance to direct support staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of services.
**Requirements:**
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as with staff members.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff members.
- Knowledge of individual care techniques and of treatment, therapy, and developmental programs.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
