Parking Valet Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Parking Valet to join our team at JBG SMITH. As a Parking Valet, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the safe and efficient parking and retrieval of customer vehicles, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers with a smile and provide top-notch customer service at every interaction.
  • Park customer vehicles and secure vehicle keys with care and attention to detail.
  • Efficiently and quickly retrieve vehicles, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.
  • Assist customers with payments and monthly parker sign-ups, providing clear and concise information.
  • Review systems to ensure smooth site operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Inspect and assess garage conditions to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Triage and repair equipment as needed, demonstrating a proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to go above and beyond.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of call center experience and a high school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Thorough understanding of the importance of customer service and a commitment to continually improve the customer experience culture.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly articulate and guide customers through payment, sign-up, and other concerns.
  • Proactive team player with the confidence to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of accountability and responsibility for performance and work product.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with basic mechanical repairs.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Skidata, IntegraPark, and TIBA.
  • Flexibility to work some weekends and holidays.
  • Safely operate vehicles and possess a valid Driver's License.
