We are on the lookout for a Part-Time Cosmetic Sales Specialist who is eager to highlight the newest advancements in hair care tools and styling products. Position Summary

As a Cosmetic Sales Specialist, you will represent our client, Dyson, and their exclusive range of hair styling tools. Your role will involve engaging with shoppers at a retail location to demonstrate the exceptional qualities of Dyson's hair styling products. The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, Airwrap styler, Airstrait wet to dry straightener, and Corrale cordless straightener have transformed the beauty landscape by merging advanced mechanical technology with exquisite design. As a Dyson Beauty Specialist, you will have the chance to represent these outstanding products and significantly influence customers' personal styling choices.

Many of our successful Cosmetic Sales Specialists also collaborate with other brands in the haircare or cosmetics sectors. The ideal candidate possesses a vibrant attitude and a genuine passion for the beauty industry, excels at connecting with people, and can confidently perform essential curling and straightening techniques during in-store demonstrations.

Schedule and Main Location

  • 16 hours per weekend
  • Weekends from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Various retail locations

What We Provide

  • Competitive hourly wage ranging from $22.00 to $26.00 based on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Share your enthusiasm for the Dyson brand with store associates and customers
  • Conduct engaging styling demonstrations and product presentations for individuals and groups
  • Provide insightful beauty consultations and expert product knowledge to drive sales
  • Train store staff to confidently communicate Dyson information
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards at the retail location
  • Build positive professional relationships with store leaders and beauty advisors
  • Participate in paid training sessions and team meetings
  • Complete feedback surveys and documentation after each shift

Qualifications

  • Valid cosmetology license preferred, but not mandatory
  • High energy and strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in hair styling and/or salon environments
  • Background in retail, customer service, and/or sales is preferred
  • Access to reliable transportation for commuting to assigned locations
  • Must adhere to professional appearance standards
  • Access to a smart device for reporting and communication
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods
