Assembler II Job Description

Bush Hog, a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment, is seeking a skilled Assembler II to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble high-quality Bush Hog products on multiple production lines
  • Learn and become familiar with four of the five types of assembly lines, including Single Spindle, Finish Mower, Multi-Spindle, and Flex-Wing or Zero Turn Lines
  • Review and perform manual labor in different production lines as needed to satisfy work orders
  • Ensure products meet Bush Hog standards by inspecting and testing them
  • Work closely with others to successfully complete work orders in a timely manner
  • Operate hoist, dollies, and pallet jacks to move products and parts throughout the assembly line
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years' experience as an Assembler I required
  • Ability to read assembly sales orders and build to sales order specification
  • Basic math, writing, and reading skills
  • Must be able to be certified and able to operate a forklift
  • Minimum dexterity required to operate necessary tools used in assembly
  • Ability to work in multiple departments during different times of the day
  • Ability to operate under pressure
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds alone and up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Required standing and/or walking for full shift required
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting are required
