Job Summary:
As a Robot Technician I at Alamo Group, you will play a critical role in supporting and contributing to the company's goals of zero injuries. This position involves performing daily maintenance and programming support to all robotic systems, identifying process and performance improvement opportunities, and introducing new robot systems to reduce costs and improve quality. You will also assist in the development of tooling and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to established Safety initiatives, policies, and procedures
• Research and recommend various types of equipment for purchase in manufacturing
• Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems or components
• Basic troubleshooting of robotic systems
• Maintain service records of robotic equipment or automated production systems
• Maintain operational records or records systems
• Ability to learn programming of robotic systems
• Prepare procedural documents
• Ability to learn to assemble equipment or components
• May assist engineers in the design, configuration, or application of robotic systems
• Ability to develop tooling and fixtures for robotic systems
• Maintain inventories of materials, equipment, or products

Requirements:
• Associates degree in a related field
• Up to 1 year of experience operating and programming welding robotic systems
• Ability to learn the requirements of Robotic Technician
