Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of managers, fostering a culture of operational excellence through effective training and performance management.
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to business meetings to align district goals with company objectives.
- Evaluate and enhance conflict resolution strategies among management, promoting open communication across all levels.
- Collaborate with human resources on district-related investigations and assist in decision-making processes.
- Oversee a minimum of six locations, partnering with regional leadership on hiring, promotions, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all brand standards and government regulations across all district locations.
- Work closely with senior management on site selection and budget planning for new locations.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as sales, labor, and service quality, collaborating with managers to identify operational improvements.
- Develop strategies with managers to enhance brand visibility and community engagement.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the district's success.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of leadership experience in a multi-unit management role, preferably in the restaurant or service industry.
- Proven track record in managing multiple locations within a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to relocate is advantageous.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including back-of-house processes and point-of-sale systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry practices and procedures.
- Intermediate to advanced budgeting skills and financial acumen.
- Ability to make informed decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in training and delegating responsibilities to ensure team success.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and motivate staff.
- Demonstrated capability to implement strategic initiatives and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Capacity to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Physical agility to perform various tasks including reaching, bending, and carrying.
- Proficient in using office equipment and technology.
Additional Requirements:
- Exempt leaders are expected to manage their time effectively to meet operational needs, typically requiring a minimum of 50 hours per week.
- Availability to support operations that run 13-16 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Willingness to travel as necessary for business needs.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Certifications:
- Food Safety Certification (requirements may vary by location).
- Food Handler's Certification.
