Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Coordinator to join our team at MetroHealth Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating education and healthcare services for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and monitor processes and related policies/procedures for the specialty practice.
  • Collaborate with personnel to facilitate the accurate and efficient flow of patients through the healthcare system.
  • Draw from knowledge of current nursing theories and practices, research methodologies, computer applications, organizational, and departmental functions, and principles of leadership, management, and education to complete responsibilities.
  • Uphold the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Ohio.
  • 2 years of recent clinical experience in a setting related to the assigned specialty.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to handle information with strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to initiate projects and carry out day-to-day operations with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent delegation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers and various software and database applications.
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support for the provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school.
  • Knowledge of EPIC functionality.
Physical Demands

May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment is required. May need to lift to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Ability to communicate face-to-face, by phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids. Requires some exposure to chemicals.
