Autism Support Specialist

Also referred to as Developmental Client Coach

Job Type: Part-time (6-12 hours a week)

Salary: $20 - $26 dollars/hour (based on qualifications)

Your responsibilities as an Autism Support Specialist:
  • Provide individualized support to children and young adults with autism through developmental therapy.
  • Receive paid training in our Developmental Relationship-Based Intervention (DRBI) therapy model.
  • Engage in meaningful interactions with clients and effectively communicate progress with their families.
  • Travel to clients' residences as needed.
  • Adhere to client objectives and accurately document information in a clinical reporting system.
  • Participate in clinical discussions and team meetings.
  • Incorporate play and enjoyment into therapeutic sessions.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with children.
  • Ability to lift objects, move easily from the floor, and actively engage in play.
  • Commitment to a minimum of 6 months with a client schedule.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to learn the DRBI model.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and ability to learn clinical reporting and client management software.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply (not mandatory).
  • At least two years of undergraduate education or an Associate's degree with a focus on child development.
