About the Role

Milo's Tea Company is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our ERP system and other software to support receiving, inventory, cycle counting, and electronic laboratory records.
  • Manage and maintain raw material and finished product records to ensure compliance with lot numbers, traceability, and company policy.
  • Ensure the security and accessibility of documents for regulatory inspections.
  • Assist in the development of testing schedules and the implementation of electronic quality record keeping.
  • Provide administrative support for SQF Records, plant inspections, regulatory and third-party audits, laboratory reports, and programs.
  • Work interactively with multiple departments to ensure raw materials are approved efficiently.
  • Review the daily schedule to assist in the coordination of Quality Assurance activities.
  • Communicate quality and compliance deficiencies to QA management.
  • Be knowledgeable and follow all Quality Assurance guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the GMP administration of the same throughout the facility.
  • Save files and documents in accordance with Document Retention Policies.
  • Assist in training of facility personnel on Food Safety, HACCP, and other relevant topics.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by department management.
Requirements
  • Two to four years of Quality and Management experience.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of Internet software and MS Office Suite.
