Senior Manager of Government Affairs Position Overview

Spectrum is currently looking for a skilled Senior Manager of Government Affairs to join its State Government Affairs team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the cable industry, government, or public policy, with at least 7 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with public officials, policymakers, and influencers at federal, state, and local levels.
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop and execute strategies that support Spectrum's growth in targeted markets.
  • Contribute to budget planning and execution of initiatives aimed at enhancing Spectrum's reputation within managed communities.
  • Assist in managing political contribution strategies, adhering to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Represent Spectrum before various external stakeholders, including elected officials, government agencies, and community groups.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
  • At least 7 years of experience in the cable industry, government, public policy, or legislative areas.
  • Strong advocacy, lobbying, and negotiation skills.
Compensation and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $88,200.00 to $156,600.00, taking into account factors such as your skills, experience, and location. Additionally, eligible employees may receive bonus payments as part of our incentive-based compensation program.
