Job Description

RapidScale, a Cox Business, is a leading provider of Managed Cloud Computing services. We are seeking a highly experienced Director of New Market Sales to lead our sales team in driving growth and revenue in new markets.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, with a strong understanding of the public cloud technology space. They will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive net new logo acquisition, as well as overseeing a team of Cloud sellers to achieve sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sales leadership, process improvement, and business analysis, with experience in new market development and cloud sales. They will be able to analyze and document functional/resourcing challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement.

The Director of New Market Sales will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing strategies to drive net new logo acquisition
  • Overseeing a team of Cloud sellers to achieve sales targets
  • Analyzing and documenting functional/resourcing challenges
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending process changes
  • Providing monthly insights on win/loss reasons and sales effectiveness

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the cloud sales and marketing landscape, and be able to develop and execute strategies to drive growth and revenue in new markets.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a base salary of $127,600.00 per year, and an annual incentive/commission target of $100,000.00. The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations.
