Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a safe and nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum that meets the needs of all children.
  • Communicate effectively with families through regular progress reports, parent-teacher conferences, and other forms of communication.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a group setting.
  • Knowledge of child development theories and practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds and engage in physical play with children.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children with special needs.
  • Knowledge of bilingual education and cultural diversity.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages.
