Job Overview

Position Summary:

AG Millworks is on the lookout for a dedicated Territory Sales Executive who will play a crucial role in enhancing sales and expanding the market presence of our products in the Northern California area. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between our organization and our clientele, encompassing both business-to-business and business-to-consumer interactions. The ideal candidate will ensure that existing clients receive optimal products and services, explore new market opportunities, and engage potential customers effectively. This role includes a competitive salary complemented by an uncapped commission structure, along with opportunities for professional advancement within a well-established sales territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and meet annual sales targets.
  • Proactively seek and secure new business opportunities.
  • Deliver comprehensive product knowledge through engaging sales presentations.
  • Organize activities, manage client accounts, maintain contacts, identify and monitor opportunities, manage leads, and relay essential information.
  • Assist in resolving disputes effectively.
  • Provide expertise in products and solutions by analyzing issues, developing strategies, preparing reports, and offering recommendations to management.
  • Concentrate efforts on high-impact selling activities to enhance sales efficiency and productivity.
  • Keep management updated by submitting activity and results reports, including daily call logs, weekly plans, and monthly and annual territory assessments.
  • Maintain historical records by documenting area and customer sales.
  • Foster positive business relationships to secure future sales.
  • Generate and compile various reports.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.


Qualifications:

· A minimum of two years of relevant sales experience and/or training, ideally within the window and door sector.

  • Ability to interpret blueprints and knowledge of performing window and door take-offs is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.


Requirements:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the door/window manufacturing industry (minimum of three years required).
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented with a proven sales track record.
  • Exceptional selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Strong relationship management skills and receptiveness to feedback.


Travel may be required to support sales, training, and service management, including some overnight trips. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
