You will serve as a Senior Systems Architect within the Flight Simulation team, focusing on the development of an advanced, physics-driven, multi-spectral simulation environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Systems Architect, your primary duties will include:
  • Designing the software framework that underpins multiple high-fidelity fast jet simulations utilized for testing and training purposes.
  • Providing architectural vision and guidance for intricate Flight Simulation Environments, encompassing aircraft weaponry and sensor systems.
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your designated areas of support.
  • Overseeing the overall systems design for the products under development and ensuring that engineering teams adhere to the established system design.
  • Supporting various Aircraft Simulation design platforms.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with SysML, Cameo, and/or Rhapsody.

Preferred Skills:
Ideal candidates will have:
  • Experience in fighter aircraft simulation.
  • A background in large-scale complex software development.
  • Knowledge of Fifth Generation fighter aircraft.
  • Experience in developing system designs for MITL/HITL simulations.
  • Expertise in sensor modeling.
  • Experience with requirements decomposition.

Security Clearance:
This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens to be considered.

Work Environment:
This role will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility, with a work schedule that may include 4x10 hour days, providing three days off each week.
