Job Overview

AeroControlex is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong background in quality and a thorough understanding of federal, state, local, and industry standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure products meet the organization's and customers' quality and product integrity requirements.
  • Support the customer service team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the organizational processes related to the BMS.
  • Identify root causes of problems in the BMS process and recommend corrective measures.
  • Analyze data to identify trends in product quality and delivery or defects and implement measures to mitigate and prevent recurrence.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and contractual obligations as it pertains to the BMS and related processes of the organization.
  • Develop and establish quality assurance measures for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing processes throughout their development/product lifecycles.
  • Liaise with suppliers in assessing applications and/or systems under consideration for purchase.
  • Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new application under development or consideration to determine its intended functionality.
  • Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards for and corresponding documentation.
  • Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies.
  • Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices.
Requirements
  • 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support.
  • Thorough understanding of federal, state, local, and industry standards, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
