Job Summary

As a Cardiovascular Coordinator RN at Providence, you will play a critical role in coordinating care for patients with mechanical heart devices. This includes managing assignments, providing technical and clinical support, and ensuring seamless transitions between hospital admissions and outpatient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate care for patients with mechanical heart devices, including ventricular assist device preparation and monitoring
  • Provide technical and clinical support to patients and families, including education and training
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Monitor patient progress and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement patient education programs to promote self-management and empowerment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • 5 years of Acute, Ambulatory or Clinic nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of recent experience in critical care/transplant nursing
