About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional DSP with Interim HealthCare of NEPA, you will have the opportunity to work in various facilities, meeting new people, gaining experience, and building your skills. Our team is passionate about caregiving and dedicated to helping individuals achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care for the Personal Care and Hygiene Needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, group homes, and personal care homes.
  • Assist with Daily Needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake.
  • Help with Ambulation, Transfers, and Range of Motion Exercises to ensure patients' comfort and mobility.
  • Monitor Patients' Vitals, Intake/Output, and Blood Glucose levels, documenting any changes or concerns.
  • Observe Patients and Notify Supervisors of issues requiring a change in care, medication, or equipment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of Six (6) Months Caregiving Experience necessary.
  • CPR Certification and First Aid Certification required.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal Healthcare Laws and Regulations essential.
  • Compassionate Nature, Good Communicator, and Ability to Lift Up to 50 Lbs. required.
