This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Occupational Therapist. You will play a vital role in assessing and treating patients, developing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to enhance clients' quality of life.\
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment.\
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans.\
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal results.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.\
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.\
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by maintaining open communication, respect, and empathy towards colleagues and patients.\
  • Foster a culture of excellence, integrity, and customer satisfaction within the organization.\
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and data entry in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.\

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful as an Occupational Therapist at TotalMed Staffing, you will need:

  • A current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing.\
  • BLS certifications.\
  • A minimum of two years of recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist.\
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.\
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.\
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software systems.\
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.\
  • The capacity to work effectively in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities.\
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy principles, practices, and standards.\
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.\
  • Willingness to learn and grow professionally within the organization.\
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, and patients as needed.\
  • Physically able to perform job duties with reasonable accommodations.\
