We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Support Specialist to join our team at Serenity Therapeutic Services, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with mental and physical disabilities.
Job SummaryThe Residential Support Specialist will provide direct care services to individuals receiving services through our office. This includes supporting daily living activities, assisting with personal care, and promoting independence.
Responsibilities- Provide support services to individuals with mental and physical disabilities in their homes or community settings.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Encourage and support individuals in developing skills and achieving goals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of service delivery.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, sociology, special education).
- Experience working with individuals with mental and physical disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
