Job Title: Radiology X Ray Tech

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology X Ray Tech to join our team at ReqOverflow. As a Radiology X Ray Tech, you will be responsible for performing a full range of General Radiology procedures, including but not limited to: Portables, fluoroscopy, operating room, trauma, contrast studies and DEXA bone densitometry in a digital/PACS environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a variety of x-ray equipment in both a hospital/trauma and outpatient setting.
  • Confirm order/correct patient/correct exam and enter exam in Meditech.
  • Obtain quality image including both technical and positional factors.
  • Maintain exposures to ionizing radiation as low as reasonably achievable.
  • Confirm patient demographics and lead markers prior to processing/QA and releasing image.
  • Adapt to schedule changes including call shifts and call back for procedures/holidays.
  • Follow policies and procedures of the Hospital.
  • Participate in the Quality Improvement process and adhere to the Hospital's standards of behavior.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of RECENT (WITHIN THE LAST YEAR OR TWO) ACUTE CARE RAD TECH EXPERIENCE.
  • Graduate of ARRT Accredited Program and current ARRT registry required.
  • Current ARRT registry required, Florida Certification is required.
