Job Summary

As a Radiographer X-Ray Tech, you will perform a wide range of general radiology procedures, including portables, fluoroscopy, operating room, trauma, contrast studies, and DEXA bone densitometry in a digital/PACS environment. You will be responsible for operating various x-ray equipment in both hospital/trauma and outpatient settings, confirming orders, patient demographics, and exam details, and entering exams in Meditech. You must obtain high-quality images, considering both technical and positional factors, and maintain exposures to ionizing radiation as low as reasonably achievable.

Responsibilities
  • Perform full range of general radiology procedures
  • Operate various x-ray equipment in hospital/trauma and outpatient settings
  • Confirm orders, patient demographics, and exam details
  • Enter exams in Meditech
  • Maintain exposures to ionizing radiation as low as reasonably achievable
Qualifications
  • 1 year of recent acute care radiology experience
  • Graduate of ARRT-accredited program and current ARRT registry required
  • Current ARRT registry required, Florida certification required before start
Compensation
