We are seeking a skilled Radiology X Ray Tech to join our team at NPAworldwide. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating a variety of x-ray equipment in both hospital and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a full range of general radiology procedures, including portables, fluoroscopy, operating room, trauma, contrast studies, and DEXA bone densitometry in a digital/PACS environment.
- Operate x-ray equipment in a hospital/trauma and outpatient setting, ensuring quality images and maintaining exposures to ionizing radiation as low as reasonably achievable.
- Confirm patient demographics and lead markers prior to processing/QA and releasing images, ensuring all "Stat" procedures or special exam instructions are completed appropriately.
- Adapt to schedule changes, including call shifts and call backs for procedures/holidays, and follow policies and procedures of the facilitator.
- Participate in the Quality Improvement process and adhere to the facilitator's standards of behavior.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical imaging software.
