Job Summary

Zobility is seeking a highly skilled Washlab Technician to join our team. As a Washlab Technician, you will be responsible for executing laundry product performance testing for prototype assessment and/or advertising claim substantiation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Execution: Execute routine testing methodologies (Stain Removal, Softening, etc) once properly trained.
  • Test Preparation: Learn to follow standard operating procedures (washing, drying, test preparation, staining, etc) and independently prepare tests (labeling fabrics, labeling towels, preparing stains/fabrics, etc).
  • Instrumentation and Automation: Operate instrumentation and automation equipment.
  • Communication: Interact with test requesters to ascertain product and any additional test design specification, if needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure stains are produced correctly, applied accurately, and the final result is acceptable.
  • Lab Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and order of the wash lab.
  • Data Generation: Generate and compile data for group scientists to analyze.
  • Supply Management: Assist in maintaining stock of lab supplies.
  • Teamwork: Work in a team environment and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Good Lab Practices: Knowledge of good lab practices.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanically inclined.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is critical.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Must speak, read, and write English.
