Role Overview
As a Retail Operations Supervisor at America's Thrift Stores, your daily responsibilities will be both challenging and rewarding. You will inspire your team to embody our mission and values while fostering a positive company culture. You will collaborate with management to achieve financial objectives that support our mission and community initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with management to lead various supervisory roles within the store.
  • Recruit and hire candidates, identifying those with strong performance for advancement.
  • Train and monitor employees, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors and team members, addressing performance issues as necessary.
  • Work with the Assets Protection team to investigate incidents involving company property and personnel.
  • Utilize company reports to optimize sales floor layouts and maximize revenue.
  • Assign daily tasks to supervisors and team members to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Oversee financial transactions and ensure accuracy in deposits and change orders.
  • Foster a culture of exceptional customer service for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage inventory levels and oversee the quality of merchandise on the sales floor.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a retail or related environment.
  • Basic math and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in developing and leading staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with excellent time management skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and engage in prolonged standing and mobility.
