Master Field Automation Specialist

At Carrier, we're committed to delivering groundbreaking systems and services that make modern life possible. As a Master Field Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our business by commissioning building automation systems for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Initiate, install, and troubleshoot customer systems utilizing advanced Direct Digital Control technology.
- Serve as the local contact for technical issues and lead in the field.
- Offer effective solutions for increasingly complex system issues.
- Provide turnkey project delivery on small to medium projects.
- Ensure systems operate properly, including controls, sensors, and software.
- Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports.
- Implement time management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate and document project status and details for the customer.
- Provide site-specific training to owners/operators on the complete system.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or a technical field.
- Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.
- Valid and current Driver's License and can be insurable by the company's insurance.
- Bachelor's degree, associate degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma in HVAC, Controls, or a related field.
- Proficient with advanced building automation software, such as WebCTRL, and installing building automation controls.
- Ability to navigate and integrate into a variety of building automation systems.
- Expert with TCP/IP networks including wireless technology.
- Experience interacting with a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of multiple disciplines.
- Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.
