Job Title: Back-End Automation Tester

We are seeking a skilled Back-End Automation Tester to join our team at Pangiam. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions.

Job Summary:

The Back-End Automation Tester will be responsible for performing manual and automated testing of our software solutions, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications. This includes testing web-based and mobile applications, identifying defects, and reporting them to the development team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual and automated testing of software solutions
  • Identify and report defects to the development team
  • Develop and maintain test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures
  • Execute regression testing to ensure release quality
  • Provide support during software installation or configuration
Requirements:
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to write test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test scripts from requirements and use cases
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript to read and understand back-end web code
  • Some prior experience with the standard software development lifecycle (analysis/design, development, testing, implementation, support)
  • Clear communicator (written and verbal) to ensure ability to write test plans and communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders
Education:

A Bachelor's in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field with applicable experience is required. Applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
