Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team at Rittenhouse Store (Ellsworth & Rittenhouse). As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for leading an excellent customer and brand experience, promoting sales, and ensuring a seamless donation process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Accurately label and process donations, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
  • Offer receipts to donors and provide information on the donation process.
  • Identify and address any potential hazardous products being donated, providing guidance on proper disposal.
  • Assist with loading and unloading donations, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production room, adhering to PPM standards.
  • Operate pallet jack and walkie stacker safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections on company-owned equipment, ensuring compliance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including cross-training in other store positions.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to pass a forklift certification class and operate equipment safely.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with donors and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving sales goals and promoting a positive customer experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in customer service or retail preferred.
