Job Details

We are seeking a talented Human Resources leader to join our team at the North Texas Tollway Authority. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of comprehensive human resources strategies that align with our organization's goals and objectives.

About the Role:

  • This position will oversee the administration of human resources policies, programs, and practices across all areas of the organization.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of federal, state, and local laws and guidelines pertaining to employment, as well as budget and accounting principles.
  • They will lead a diverse staff responsible for implementing a comprehensive mix of personnel services, including performance management, change management, and employee communications.
  • This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver instruction and learning to groups and individuals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement onboarding programs that familiarize new employees with workplace policies and provide specific company-wide training needed for a new hire.
  2. Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding functions, ensuring a smooth transition process for all employees.
  3. Provide support to Human Resources Business Partners in various escalated employee relation topics and resolve any issues that may arise.
  4. Assist in the development, implementation, and interpretation of human resource policies and platforms.
  5. Oversee the creation of training and development plans for all employees, ensuring they operate at a consistently high standard.
  6. Gather, analyze, and communicate data with useful HR metrics to company leaders and HR Business Partners.
  7. Organize quarterly and annual employee check-ins/performance reviews and orchestrate training for employees on evaluation software systems and NTTA's processes.
  8. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and establish and review key strategic priorities.
  9. Assist the Director with formulating annual goals and methods of evaluating accomplishment of those goals and other departmental activities.
  10. Manage and supervise the HR budget, representing the organization at meetings, conferences, and other important operations meetings.
