Job Summary:

The University of Texas at Austin seeks an Executive Director of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity to oversee the student conduct adjudication process, develop and implement policies and procedures, and provide training and outreach to students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, interpret, and implement policy and procedure related to student conduct, including case intake, management, and workflow.
  • Administer the student conduct process for academic, non-academic, and student organization matters, including investigation and resolution of complaints.
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Student Conduct and Academic Integrity unit, managing the unit budget and supervising a team of 8 full-time staff and multiple graduate students.
  • Meet with students, faculty, legal affairs, and other stakeholders for consultation, education, and problem-solving.
  • Oversee and sustain the quality of outreach and marketing initiatives, including annual reports, assessment plans, website content, and publications.
  • Provide primary leadership on technology and communication-based initiatives for the Student Conduct and Academic Integrity unit.

Requirements:

Master's degree in student affairs administration, educational policy, law, or a related field, and 10 years of experience in student conduct or higher education administration, academic discipline, residence life conduct management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Terminal degree in student affairs administration, educational policy, law, or a related field, and 8 years of experience in student conduct or higher education administration, academic discipline, residence life conduct management, or a related field.

Salary: $130,000+ depending on qualifications

Working Conditions:

  • Standard office environment

  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required
